EMERGENCY RESPONSE

VENEZUELA'S EARTHQUAKES.

Earth Daughters Venezuela earthquake mutual aid support Community relief supplies for Venezuela earthquake response
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Emergency Response After the Earthquake

On June 24, 2026, Venezuela was struck by two powerful earthquakes near Caracas, causing widespread damage to communities, infrastructure, and essential services. Families across affected regions faced urgent needs as recovery efforts continued.

Community-Centered Disaster Relief

Earth Daughters mobilized through a mutual aid approach focused on directing support to grassroots organizations already working within communities, allowing resources to reach those most affected quickly and with dignity.

Supporting Immediate Needs

The initiative provided critical emergency supplies, including medicine, baby formula, nonperishable food, hygiene products, and clothing to support families impacted by the disaster.

Partnering With Local Organizations

Earth Daughters partnered with Organización Juntos Por Más, a community-based organization coordinating emergency supply distribution throughout Venezuela and ensuring aid reached communities on the ground.

Cross-Border Solidarity

The response reflects a commitment to solidarity beyond borders, recognizing the power of grassroots networks, local leadership, and community relationships during times of crisis.

Mutual Aid With Dignity

Through rapid mobilization and trusted partnerships, the initiative demonstrates how community-led disaster response can provide timely, accountable, and compassionate support.
