PHONE SCRIPT

You can use the phone script we created as a guide when calling your senators and representatives.
Hello, my name is ___, and I live in ___.

I’m calling about H.R. 1897, the ESA Amendments Act of 2025.

I’m concerned that this bill would make it harder and slower to protect at‑risk species, narrow critical habitat protections, and weaken the Endangered Species Act.

I believe endangered wildlife protections should be based on strong science and long‑term conservation, not primarily on economic convenience.

I urge the Senator or Representative to oppose this bill or work to significantly change it.

Thank you for your time.
