Our holiday drives center Indigenous children because they are disproportionately impacted by systemic inequities, including poverty, housing insecurity, and climate-related disruptions, yet are often overlooked in mainstream giving efforts. These drives are rooted in Indigenous values of reciprocity, collective care, and community responsibility—providing gifts and essential resources during the holidays in ways that affirm dignity rather than charity. Guided by Indigenous families and community partners, our approach prioritizes trust, cultural grounding, and real needs, ensuring that support strengthens joy, resilience, and belonging for Indigenous children and the communities they carry forward.

Our holiday drive in Oaxaca honored Día de Reyes by supporting Mixtec children with gifts and essential items rooted in cultural tradition and community care. Día de Reyes is a meaningful celebration for many Indigenous families, symbolizing generosity, continuity, and collective joy. By partnering with local community members, the drive ensured that children received support in ways that were culturally grounded and respectful, reinforcing a sense of belonging and celebration during the holiday season while strengthening community ties.
