OUR MISSIONOur mission is to empower transnational Indigenous women and youth through transformative mutual aid, Indigenous-centered research, and bold climate justice initiatives rooted in Indigenous leadership. OUR HISTORYEarth Daughters rose on June 23, 2020, through collective action rooted in Indigenous strength and solidarity. In the wake of a devastating 7.5 magnitude earthquake in Oaxaca’s Sierra Sur, they launched their first mutual aid campaign, quickly mobilizing support and rebuilding 200 homes for those most affected. Since that pivotal moment, Earth Daughters has evolved into a driving force for grassroots change, advancing mutual aid and Indigenous-centered research that honor sovereignty, Indigenous science, and self-determination. From disaster response to addressing the ongoing impacts of climate change, they remain steadfast, walking alongside communities with care, courage, and the sacred responsibility to protect land, life, and future generations. |
